Join me as I returns to my hometown of Mount Vernon to share my creative process and artistic journey. This special pop-up will feature select readings from my debut coffee table book, Becoming the Light, a curated selection of my award-winning fiber art, and a conversation about creativity as a path to truth and self-discovery.  Autographed copies of my book will be available for purchase.

Finding Joy!, A Solo Exhibit

April 11 - September 30, 2026
Morris Center for Lowcountry History, Ridgeville, SC

Finding Joy is a solo retrospective exhibition tracing Renée’s artistic evolution from traditional quilting to her contemporary art quilts. Spanning years of work, the exhibition highlights growth in technique, visual language, and storytelling, revealing how fiber has become a powerful tool for self-exploration and truth-telling. Through color, texture, and narrative, Finding Joy celebrates creativity as both a personal journey and an act of discovery.

April 25th, 1-3pm, Becoming the Light Author Talk and Book Signing: autographed copies will be available for purchase

June TBD, 10am-4pm, FiberArt Workshop:  Based on Finding Joy! participants with create their own one of a kind piece of fiber art.  Registration required through Morris Center for Lowcountry Heritage Center.

Renée's Mediterranean Quilting Cruise  

May 27 - June 6, 2027 

11 days departing from Barcelona, Spain traveling to Morocco, Italy and France, returning to Spain on Holland America's Oosterdam Cruise ship! We will have a blast exploring exciting ports of call and on those 3 days at sea, come join me as we create your one of a kind fiber art piece.  Project still yet to be determined.
